What is it, what's in it? - This product is a combination of 100% Lab Tested Grass Fed Beef Liver, 100% Lab Tested Grass Fed Beef Heart, 100% Lab Tested Grass Fed Beef Thyroid, 100% Lab Tested Grass Fed Beef Thalmus, and 95% Curcumin (Tumeric Extract) to help support thyroid function by boosting the liver function that controls it. It is not meant to jump you directly off your meds, although some do; it's not something I recommend just because we feel we can. With everything, take it slow and come off meds slowly as well, and consult your doctor who prescribed it to let them know you are. I leave these decisions completely up to you so you can feel when your body is ready to make these moves.
What can I use it for? - Men use this also, and generally only use 1 capsule a day after a meal with fat, but women use generally 2, 3 or 4 capsules a day to help support everything around the thyroid and liver. The liver controls the T3/T4 conversion, they never tell you that, and the TSH aka Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is no where near the top dog like the TRH aka Thyroid Regulating Hormone is. Not to mention the TRH is completely dependant on Copper. The thyroid is an alarm bell so ensure you understand that to fix it you want to work on the liver and systems that directly affect it. That will make this process much more effective.
How do I use it? - Adults, use up to 4 capsules daily after meals with a good amount of fat. Split the capsules up between meals. Start with 1 capsule a day after meals with fat and then each week begin to go up to your desired amount daily.
What can I expect when using this product? - The feedback we get most is around the support this gives for sleep, anxiety, hormones, energy, and focus.
Are there any WARNINGS for this product? - If you take more than you need then sometimes you can feel the effects of it. It can be like getting a rush and to some that can be uncomfortable. I do not recommend this product for any children under 5 and if you give it to them then cut the dose way down, opening a capsule and giving them little bits to build up over time. Generally this product works best for those in adalescent years up through adulthood.
How do I store this product? What is the shelf life of it? - We keep this product in the cupboard with others that don't need to be refrigerated. We recommend using this product within 12 months of opening it.
