Log one week, or log four. Same price.
$147.77 covers anywhere from one to four weeks of logging — your choice. One week tells me what you ate. Four weeks tells me what you actually do: the weekend, the busy stretch, the pattern that only shows up over time. Most people get far more out of four, and it costs you nothing extra.
How it works
- You log. Seven days at a time, exactly as they happen — food, drink, brands, what it was cooked in, movement, sleep, stress, and how you actually felt. Not a perfect week. A real one. Log one week, or keep going up to four.
- You send it to me. Hit Copy for analysis at the bottom of the log, then paste it into an email to info@modernrootslife.com. Doing more than one week? Hit Save file at the end of each week, start fresh, and send them all together.
- I read every day of it. You get a full written report, and a voice message from me walking through what I found.
- You make the changes. Log again afterward if you want, and we look at what moved.
Why both sides
Your analysis shows you everything in a full comparative light, using both mainstream and holistic perspectives. I have found that this creates a much better harmony between the two camps and allows people to properly analyze their situation, whether they are working with a naturopath or a typical MD. To properly stand where you stand in your understanding, you must understand both sides. It doesn't mean you choose to use both sides, but people come to us from all walks of life.
What you get
- A full macronutrient breakdown measured against a protein- and fat-dominant frame
- Micronutrient analysis — every vitamin and mineral against your actual requirement, not a population average
- A complete industrial seed oil trace, checked against the real published ingredient panel of every product you logged
- Your linoleic acid load, in grams and as a share of calories, benchmarked against the 1909 diet and today's average
What is the 1909 diet? →
It is not a diet anybody went on. It is simply what people actually ate before industrial seed oils existed.
In 1909, linoleic acid made up roughly 2 to 3 percent of the average American's calories. By 1999 it was over 7 percent, and for a lot of people today it runs higher than that. Almost the entire increase came from one place — soybean oil consumption rose more than a thousand-fold over that same period.
That is the benchmark I measure you against: where you sit between the way people ate for most of human history, and the way we eat now.
Blasbalg et al., American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2011
- Omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, EPA and DHA by day, and where the gaps actually are
- Hidden added sugar — including the products that declare zero on the panel and carry it in the ingredient list
- Ultra-processed share of calories, day by day
- Protein quality, leucine per meal, and the glycine gap almost nobody checks
- A ranked action plan, ordered by what moves the most — every removal paired with a specific named replacement
- A one-page Swap Sheet for your fridge — this out, that in, nothing to interpret
- A voice message from me walking you through what I saw, across every week you logged
What this is not
This is a dietary analysis, not medical advice. Nothing here has been reviewed by the FDA.
Your free consultation stays free, and it always will be. This is for when you want the numbers on paper and my voice in your ear.
