What's an adrenal cocktail, and why capsules?
All three ingredients have human research behind them: sodium for holding onto the water you drink, potassium bicarbonate for normal acid-base and mineral balance in a New England Journal of Medicine metabolic study, and vitamin C status for everyday energy. Measured out so you don't have to.
- Adults who want whole-food vitamin C and morning electrolytes in one measured serving
- Practitioners who currently have clients assembling this from three jars and a quarter-teaspoon
- Anyone who travels and would rather carry capsules than three powders
- One serving first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, in juice, water, or as capsules. Then wait a full hour before your first meal.
- Powder: 1 1/2 teaspoons is a serving. Capsules: 5 capsules is a serving.
- You can work up to 2 or 3 servings a day, spaced before meals or later in the day. Start slow and adjust to comfort.
- Splitting into two or three smaller servings spreads the vitamin C across the day, because vitamin C is water soluble and cleared quickly.
- Do not exceed more than 3 servings per day without professional guidance.
- Many people choose the Adrenal Cocktail as part of their daily wellness routine to help support energy, hydration, and balance. It is commonly paired with probiotics, digestive support, and other lifestyle practices.
- Whole-food vitamin C, not ascorbic acid. One teaspoon of organic camu camu per serving, in the fruit matrix it grew in. Vitamin C is required for normal collagen formation and is an antioxidant.
- Sodium and chloride from real sea salt. A quarter teaspoon of Salt of Life high-mineral sea salt per serving. In a randomized trial of 72 men, drinks carrying sodium left more fluid on board over four hours than plain water did.
- Potassium in the alkaline form. A quarter teaspoon of USP-grade potassium bicarbonate, the salt studied in controlled metabolic balance work for its role in normal acid-base and mineral balance.
- One serving instead of three jars. The recipe is public. What you're buying is the measuring, the sourcing, and the lab testing on all three inputs. It is formulated to support daily electrolyte balance and whole-food vitamin C intake as part of a balanced wellness routine.
- Supports normal iron absorption from plant foods. Vitamin C improves nonheme iron uptake, which is worth knowing if your iron comes mostly from vegetables. See the note on iron below.

Sourcing & making
Three lab-tested ingredients and nothing else: organic camu camu powder, third-party lab tested Salt of Life high-mineral sea salt, and USP-grade potassium bicarbonate, measured 1 teaspoon, 1/4 teaspoon, and 1/4 teaspoon per serving. Each one is sold on its own here, so you can check what goes in before you buy the blend. Powder and capsules use the same formula.

The research behind the ingredients
Published research on the ingredients in this product, for education. These studies were not conducted on this product.
Vitamin C (whole-food camu camu source in this product)
Nutrition Journal · 2012 · RCT · n=141
In a double-blind randomized placebo-controlled trial of 141 office workers, a single 10 g intravenous dose of vitamin C lowered fatigue scores within two hours and for one day versus saline, with the largest effect in those with lower baseline vitamin C.
Potassium bicarbonate
The New England Journal of Medicine · 1994 · controlled metabolic balance trial · n=18
In a controlled metabolic balance study of 18 postmenopausal women, 60–120 mmol/day of potassium bicarbonate for 18 days neutralized endogenous acid and improved calcium and phosphorus balance.
Sodium (high-mineral sea salt)
The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition · 2016 · RCT · n=72
In a randomized trial in 72 healthy men, beverages containing sodium produced smaller urine output and greater fluid retention over four hours than plain water.
Evidence note: Moderate: each of the three inputs has human evidence behind it, with the strongest vitamin C fatigue trial using an intravenous dose. The combination is a traditional recipe rather than a studied formula, so we publish what each ingredient contributes.
A note on iron
Iron is essential, but stored and unbound iron is reactive; it feeds oxidative stress. The body moves iron using copper-dependent ceruloplasmin and vitamin A, which is why we focus on whole-food copper and retinol rather than pushing more iron. If you are considering iron, test your levels first and talk it through with your practitioner. Iron is not right for everyone.

FAQ
How much vitamin C is in a serving?
A serving carries 1 teaspoon of organic camu camu: whole-food vitamin C in the fruit matrix it grew in.
How much potassium is in it?
A quarter teaspoon of USP-grade potassium bicarbonate per serving, the alkaline form studied in controlled metabolic balance work.
Powder or capsules?
Five capsules equals one and a half teaspoons of powder, same formula. Powder mixes into juice or water and lets you adjust the amount; capsules travel.
Why wait an hour before eating?
It's how the recipe has always been run: vitamin C is water soluble and absorbs readily on an empty stomach, and the minerals go in ahead of the day's first meal.
Does this replace a magnesium supplement?
This one is the morning vitamin C and electrolyte serving. For magnesium, reach for malate or bis-glycinate.
What do people notice?
Customer feedback often highlights support for energy, digestive comfort, and daily resilience. Some users report digestive movement or changes as their system adjusts. As with any supplement, individual results may vary.
