What is this, and is it for me?
That ALL Day B to the V Magnesium/MSM Lotion. It will smell very familiar to anyone who knows the popular essential oil blends, and it is used for immunity and purification.
- Anyone who wants an immunity and purification blend in a magnesium lotion base
- People who want to cleanse the hands with something other than an alcohol gel
- Anyone using the Magnesium/MSM base for pain, tight muscles, cramps, low magnesium, or energy
- Rub a small amount on the hands for cleansing.
- We recommend using it around your chest for the aromatic side, or on the bottom of your feet for maximum absorption throughout the entire body.
- Most absorptive areas of the body: bottom of the feet hits the entire body for men and women. Thighs are the second most absorptive spot for women. Forearms are the second most absorptive spot for men.
- Use these if you need to use more lotion and the feet or other areas are already covered.
- These lotions last a long time, but since I use absolutely no fillers, it's best to warm the lotion back up and mix it back together from time to time if you aren't using all the lotion before it separates. This will happen more often if the lotion is stored in a bathroom setting where temperatures fluctuate up and down more often. Set the jar in a bowl of hot water for 20 minutes at a time until it melts down, then mix it with a milk frother. Sometimes you'll have to warm it up more than once to get it soft enough to mix.
- Generally, keep it stored in a cool, dry place and mix it back together if it does separate. For potency, use this lotion within 12 months of opening it.
- Used for immunity and purification. The B to the V lotion will smell very familiar to those familiar with popular essential oil blends. Rub a small amount on the hands to cleanse them, or use it on the chest for the aromatic side.
- The same Magnesium/MSM base as the whole line. Mostly shea butter, hemp seed oil, Zechstein magnesium, and MSM, so you can use any of them topically to support pain, discomfort, tight muscles, joint issues, low magnesium, cramps, energy, and so much more. There is about 280 mg of magnesium in each teaspoon of lotion.
- Magnesium relaxes tissues, so applying this lotion to any areas with pain, discomfort, tension, and the like should support them. Magnesium is responsible for 3,751 proteins and enzymes, and therefore we can expect using this lotion will support those.
- Straight past the gut. Magnesium is used to make every unit of our energy, and using it topically skips the digestive tract and deposits the magnesium directly into our blood. That is extremely helpful for anyone who can't handle much magnesium orally.
- The oils are the difference. I source high-grade oils and blend specific oils to help with certain ailments. The base is identical across the line; the blend is what you're choosing.
- What clients tell us. Many clients report feedback about the support it gives to their skin, energy, gut, anxiety, irritability, and overall mood, amongst other things.

The research behind the ingredients
Published research on the ingredients in this product, for education. These studies were not conducted on this product.
Genuine Zechstein Magnesium Chloride (transdermal magnesium)
Effect of transdermal magnesium cream on serum and urinary magnesium levels in humans: A pilot study
PLOS ONE · 2017 · RCT · n=25 enrolled, 24 completed
In a single-blind, parallel-group pilot trial of 25 adults, applying a magnesium cream supplying 56 mg of magnesium daily for two weeks raised serum magnesium by 8.54% versus 2.6% with placebo, reaching statistical significance only in the non-athlete subgroup.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane)
Methylsulfonylmethane: Applications and Safety of a Novel Dietary Supplement
Nutrients · 2017 · mechanistic review
A peer-reviewed review of the human and animal literature reported that MSM is well tolerated at up to four grams daily and that human trials show lower pain scores and reduced markers of protein oxidation, lipid peroxidation and creatine kinase after exertion.
100% Pure Organic White/Yellow Shea Butter
Shea butter emollient cream randomized trial, 2026
Health Research in Africa · 2026 · RCT · n=30
In an open randomized controlled trial of 30 patients with mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis, a shea butter-based emollient cream reduced mean SCORAD scores by 68.2% - statistically indistinguishable from a reference emollient (p=0.187) - and was rated excellently tolerated in 96.7% of cases.
Evidence note: The base ingredients carry randomized human evidence: a 30-person RCT of a shea-butter emollient cream, a safety and applications review of MSM, and a 25-person pilot in which a magnesium cream supplying 56 mg daily raised serum magnesium 8.54% versus 2.6% for placebo, significant in the non-athlete subgroup. A 2017 Nutrients review reading the same transdermal literature called for larger, better-controlled absorption trials, which is the study that would settle the dose question. The essential oils in this blend are proprietary, so the immunity and hand-hygiene positioning is where a trial of the blend itself would add the most.
FAQ
What is this blend for?
Immunity and purification. It will smell very familiar to anyone who knows the popular essential oil blends.
Can I use it on my hands?
Yes. Cleansing the hands by rubbing a small amount on them is one of the three ways we recommend using it, alongside the chest for the aromatic side and the bottoms of the feet for maximum absorption.
What's different between this and the other lotions?
The base is identical across the line: shea butter, hemp seed oil, Zechstein magnesium chloride, my deuterium-depleted distilled water, MSM, and beeswax. The only difference is the essential oil blend. I source high-grade oils and blend specific oils to help with certain ailments.
How much magnesium is in it, and does it get in?
There is about 280 mg of magnesium in each teaspoon of lotion. Magnesium is used to make every unit of our energy, and using it topically skips the digestive tract and deposits the magnesium directly into our blood, which is extremely helpful for anyone who can't handle much magnesium orally.
Why did my jar separate?
Because I use absolutely no fillers. Sit the jar in hot water about 20 minutes, then remix with a milk frother. Repeat if it's still firm. It happens faster in a bathroom where temperatures swing. Nothing is wrong with it.
Can kids use it? What about pregnancy?
All of our Magnesium/MSM Lotions are safe for any adult to use, and should also be safe for just about any 5-12 year old. For our children under 2 we normally only use the Zanex or Sleep Zzz, in very small amounts. Zanex and Sleep Zzz are the only lotions we recommend for pregnancy, but all the lotions are safe for breastfeeding.
Pairs well with
- Full Body Fresh Deodorant Cream — same base, built for anywhere that sweats
- BOMB Bath Salts — magnesium in the tub, same mineral, different route
- Magnesium Bis-Glycinate — magnesium in a capsule when you want it internally as well
Cautions
- All of our Magnesium/MSM Lotions are safe for any adult to use. They should also be safe for just about any 5-12 year old. However, for our children under 2 years old, we normally only use the Zanex or Sleep Zzz in very small amounts. Zanex and Sleep Zzz are the only lotions we recommend for pregnancy, but all the lotions are safe for breastfeeding.
- For external use only.
- Store cool and dry, out of a bathroom that swings hot and cold. Separation is normal in a filler-free lotion; rewarm and remix rather than assuming it spoiled. Use within 12 months of opening.
