What is this, and is it for me?
Shilajit is a mineral-rich resin formed at high elevations, 13,000+ feet in the Altai mountains. Josh sources organic Triphala separately and blends it 80/20 instead of the usual 50/50, so the shilajit fraction stays higher. This is the most potent shilajit we could find worldwide.
- Adults who want the traditional shilajit-and-Triphala pairing without a 50/50 cut of unknown origin
- People adding trace minerals and daily digestive support in one product rather than two
- Anyone who wants the most potent shilajit we have been able to source
- Powder: Start with ½–1 teaspoon daily after your first complete meal.
- After 2–3 weeks, you may add another ½–1 teaspoon with your second meal if desired.
- Some users take 2–3 teaspoons per day, while others remain at 1 teaspoon daily. Adjust based on comfort.
- Mix into water, tea, coffee, or other beverages.
- Capsules: Start with 1–2 capsules daily after your first complete meal.
- After 2–3 weeks, you may add 1–2 more with a second meal if desired.
- Some users take 3–6 capsules daily, while others prefer 1–2. Adjust based on your tolerance.
- 80/20, not 50/50. Most shilajit comes from the Himalayas and is dried with Triphala powder. We do not know where that powder comes from, and we don't like that it is always a 50/50 mix. Josh personally sources organic Triphala, we use an 80/20 mix to keep the potency higher, and our shilajit is dried with water to prevent any loss in potency.
- The most potent shilajit we could find worldwide. The highest humic/fulvic acid counts Josh has seen anywhere. Naturally abundant in humic and fulvic acids as well as 84+ trace minerals.
- Supports trace mineral balance and enhances mineral absorption. Formed from the breakdown of plant matter in mountain rock, it carries minerals in the organic matrix they formed in rather than as separated salts.
- Helps reduce free radical activity, and aids natural detox pathways, including the binding and movement of heavy metals. That binding chemistry is what humic substances are known for; a 2024 review of shilajit's mineral chemistry documents it across roughly a dozen elements.
- Triphala specifically supports healthy gut function and intestinal motility (peristalsis). A 2018 review in Chinese Medicine describes Triphala's polyphenols supporting the intestinal lining and influencing intestinal transit. It is the reason the two are traditionally paired.
- Studied for stamina in adults. A 2019 randomized, placebo-controlled trial of 63 recreationally active men used 500 mg a day of purified shilajit for eight weeks; strength declined less after a fatigue protocol than in the placebo group.

What's in the jar
Shilajit is a natural resin, so constituents are reported per lot rather than as fixed label amounts.
| Ingredient | What it contributes |
|---|---|
| Shilajit resin powder (about 80% of the blend) | The phyto-mineral matrix: humic acids, fulvic acids, and 84+ trace minerals in the form they occur in. |
| Organic, non-GMO Triphala fruit powder (about 20%) | A combination of three fruits, added to support digestion and regularity. |
| Humic and fulvic acids | The defining constituents of real shilajit, naturally abundant in this material. |
| USP grade pork-free bovine capsule | Capsule orders only. 100 capsules is about 72 g of blend; 200 is about 144 g. |

Sourcing & making
Shilajit sourced from the Altai mountains, formed at high elevations of 13,000+ feet, and dried with water to prevent any loss in potency. Unlike low-altitude fulvic products, authentic shilajit originates only from these unique geological conditions. The Triphala is organic and non-GMO, personally sourced by Josh rather than arriving pre-mixed with the resin, and it goes in at a fifth of the blend.

The research behind the ingredients
Published research on the ingredients in this product, for education. These studies were not conducted on this product.
Shilajit (humic/fulvic acid resin)
Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition · 2019 · RCT · n=63
In an 8-week double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 63 recreationally active men, 500 mg/day of purified shilajit was associated with less strength decline after a fatigue protocol and lower serum hydroxyproline than placebo.
Triphala (Emblica officinalis, Terminalia bellerica, Terminalia chebula)
Triphala digestive review, 2018
Chinese Medicine · 2018 · mechanistic review
A review of preclinical and clinical data reporting that Triphala's polyphenols support the intestinal epithelial lining and can either speed or slow intestinal transit toward normal, with one gastrointestinal-focused human study published so far.
Triphala (three-fruit Ayurvedic blend)
Therapeutic Uses of Triphala in Ayurvedic Medicine
The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine · 2017 · narrative review
A review of Triphala's documented uses reporting that its polyphenols are metabolized by gut bacteria and are associated with growth of beneficial Bifidobacteria in the human gut microbiome.
Evidence note: Moderate: shilajit has a good randomized human trial for fatigue-related strength. Triphala's digestive evidence is largely preclinical plus one gastrointestinal human study, describing polyphenols that support the intestinal lining and feed beneficial gut bacteria.
FAQ
Why an 80/20 ratio instead of 50/50?
Because 50/50 is a drying convention, not a formulation choice. Triphala is commonly used to dry the resin, so half your jar is the drying agent, usually from a source the seller can't name. This blend dries with water and adds organic Triphala separately at a fifth, so more of what you buy is shilajit.
What does the Triphala add?
It is a combination of three fruits, included to support digestion and regularity. Triphala specifically supports healthy gut function and intestinal motility (peristalsis), which is why the two are traditionally paired.
Powder or capsules?
Same blend either way. Powder lets you adjust finely and mixes into water, tea, coffee, or other beverages; capsules travel better and skip the taste. 100 capsules holds about 72 g, 200 holds about 144 g. Capsule versions use lab-tested USP grade pork-free bovine capsules.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Do not use this blend while pregnant. Triphala is sometimes used during pregnancy, but we do not recommend this blend for pregnant women; use our Pregnancy Shilajit, 100% Pure Shilajit, instead. Shilajit is considered safe during breastfeeding.
What do most people report?
Improved energy and stamina, better digestion and gut motility thanks to the Triphala, more efficient waste elimination, and a general boost in cellular vitality from balanced trace minerals.
Pairs well with
- Pregnancy Shilajit (No Triphala) — the version to use instead if you are pregnant
- Microfiber Gut & Colon Support — the fiber side of the same daily digestion routine
- Salt of Life — high-mineral, high-electrolyte sea salt with every meal
Cautions
- Do not use while pregnant.
- Shilajit is considered safe during breastfeeding.
- Triphala is sometimes used during pregnancy, but we do not recommend this blend for pregnant women. For pregnancy support, use Pregnancy Shilajit – 100% Pure Shilajit instead.
- Shilajit can feel strong at first. If you feel overwhelmed when increasing dosage, space out the added dose every few days until your body adapts.
- Capsule versions use pork-free bovine capsules.
- Store in a cool, dry place. No refrigeration is required. Best if used within 24 months of opening.
