What is this, and is it for me?
Capsaicin has real human data: a 2024 meta-analysis of nine placebo-controlled trials for nasal comfort, and a meta-analysis of feeding studies showing support for normal energy expenditure after meals. Niacinamide has been dosed orally for a year in a 386-person trial. Both, after breakfast.
- Adults who already take the plain cayenne and want B3 in the same capsule
- People who want vitamin B3 without the flushing that comes with nicotinic acid
- Anyone building a routine around meals rather than around a morning stimulant
- Start with 1 capsule after breakfast for the first 1–2 weeks. Never on an empty stomach.
- If tolerated, increase to 1 capsule after breakfast and lunch.
- Some individuals choose to take up to 2 capsules per meal, though always increase gradually and as tolerated.
- Use responsibly; more is not always better.
- Count this alongside any B-complex or multivitamin you take.
- Niacinamide, not niacin. Nicotinic acid is the form that makes people flush. Niacinamide does not, because of its different structure. That is why it's the form in this capsule.
- A cofactor role, not a stimulant. B3 is the precursor to NAD and NADP, the coenzymes that run normal energy metabolism. That is a chemistry job, not a jolt.
- 90k Cayenne Powder. Lab-tested and glyphosate-free, for the anti-mucus and antibacterial properties Josh built the formula around.
- Mucus, sinuses, gut and acid balance. Formulated to support mucus clearance and sinus comfort, allergy and congestion relief, gut and colon support, acid balance in the body, and a clean, natural energy boost.
- Built around meals. Cayenne on an empty stomach is what causes most of the complaints. This one is designed to be taken after breakfast, then after lunch.

90k Cayenne (Capsicum annuum) / capsaicin
Capsaicin nasal-comfort review, 2024
Clinical Reviews in Allergy & Immunology · 2024 · systematic review and meta-analysis · n=9 placebo-controlled studies
Pooling nine placebo-controlled studies of intranasal capsaicin in adults with non-allergic rhinitis, capsaicin improved total nasal symptom and visual-analogue scores and produced more treatment responders than placebo.
90k Cayenne (capsaicin / capsaicinoids)
Chemical Senses · 2012 · meta-analysis · n=pooled human studies (dose-ranging)
Pooling human feeding studies, the authors found capsaicin and capsiate raised energy expenditure and fat oxidation, especially at higher doses, and reduced appetite sensations, while judging the overall effect modest.
Vitamin B3 as Niacinamide (nicotinamide)
Oral nicotinamide 12-month human trial, 2015
New England Journal of Medicine · 2015 · RCT · n=386
In a double-blind randomized trial of 386 adults with a history of at least two non-melanoma skin cancers, oral nicotinamide 500 mg twice daily for 12 months produced 23% fewer new non-melanoma skin cancers than placebo, with no significant safety concerns and benefit fading after supplementation stopped.
Evidence note: Both ingredients have real human data, measured on specific endpoints. Capsaicin's nine-study meta-analysis for non-allergic rhinitis used intranasal capsaicin, and the energy-balance meta-analyses pooled gram-level oral doses - so the trial route and dose are the reference points to read against a capsule. Niacinamide has excellent human safety and dosing data, and its largest RCT (386 participants) measured skin-cancer incidence at 500 mg twice daily. Trials measuring energy, mucus or gut outcomes at this product's serving size are what would speak to this page's positioning directly.
FAQ
Why niacinamide rather than niacin?
Nicotinic acid - plain niacin - is the form that makes people flush. Niacinamide does not, because of its different chemical structure. It is the usual choice for people who want B3 without the flush.
How is this different from the plain cayenne capsules?
The standalone product states 430 mg of cayenne per capsule and contains nothing else. This one adds niacinamide, the non-flushing form of B3, in the same capsule.
Can I take it before eating?
Always with food. Cayenne on an empty stomach is the most common cause of the discomfort people report, so the whole routine is built around post-meal timing - after breakfast, then after lunch.
Will I feel it?
Most people feel the warmth from the cayenne within a half hour. The B3 works as a cofactor in normal energy metabolism. Start at one capsule after breakfast and build from there.
What do people notice?
Most users report clearer sinuses and easier breathing, reduced mucus-related discomfort and allergy support, and a noticeable energy lift ("pick me up") after meals. Individual results may vary.
Pairs well with
- 90k Cayenne — straight cayenne
- B Vitamin Complex — if you want the full B range instead of B3 alone
- Magnesium Malate — the other daytime capsule in the routine
Cautions
- Do not take on an empty stomach — always take with food.
- Use responsibly; more is not always better.
- Consult your healthcare professional before use if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best if used within 12 months of opening.
Lab Tested
Every product. COA on request, ~2 weeks.
